We are a team that spent months in dusty showroom offices, watching people drown in registers — and decided to do something about it.
Four chapters. One mission. Built entirely in the field.
"I asked him — isn't there any software for this? He laughed. He said, 'Beta, software wale hum jaise logon ke baare mein nahi sochte.'"
— EmiGuru Founder, recalling the moment
It began in a small showroom office in Ludhiana. Our founder sat across from Ramesh Bhai — a man who had financed 80+ E-Rickshaws to daily wage earners. He was doing God's work, providing livelihoods.
But every morning, Ramesh Bhai opened a thick, worn-out register and spent four hours calling customers to remind them of their EMI. Half went unanswered. He calculated late fees by hand. He had no idea which rickshaws were financed by which bank.
"The industry that created millions of livelihoods was completely invisible to the tech world."
— Research findings, 2021
Before a single line of code was written, we visited 40+ E-Rickshaw showrooms across UP, Bihar, Haryana, and MP. No laptops, no pitch decks — just notebooks and questions.
We found the same six problems everywhere. These weren't isolated issues. They were industry-wide wounds. And nothing existed to fix them.
"If a showroom who has never used software before can't figure it out in 10 minutes — we redesign it. No exceptions."
— Internal product principle
Every screen in EmiGuru was designed around a real showroom workflow we'd personally witnessed. The EMI tracker reflects Ramesh Bhai's register. The financer filter came from a Lucknow showroom with 4 banks. The late fee module came from a showroom who lost ₹80,000 in a year from inconsistent charges.
We launched with 12 showrooms and our network is growing rapidly.
"We only win when our showrooms win. That's the only scoreboard we check."
— EmiGuru Mission Statement
We are not chasing enterprise contracts or investor valuations. Our north star is simple — every E-Rickshaw showroom in India deserves software built for them, not adapted for them.
Ramesh Bhai no longer uses a register. He opens EmiGuru every morning, sees his collections at a glance, and spends his time doing what he loves — growing his business. That is the EmiGuru promise.
Most software companies sell you a product. We live inside your problem and build the exit.
Every product decision is driven by one question: does this make a showroom's day easier? Not investor-friendly. Not enterprise-ready. Showroom-first.
No hidden fees, no surprise locks, no "call sales" barriers. What you see is what you get. Always.
Not a generic finance app. Not a renamed CRM. EmiGuru is shaped around the exact daily workflow of an E-Rickshaw showroom — EMIs, stock, financer, collection, reports.
Our growth metric is not sign-ups. It is whether our showrooms are collecting more, spending less time on admin, and growing their fleet. That is our scoreboard.
Our Values
These are not values on a wall. These are the filters every product decision passes through.
Every granular product decision starts with: does this make a showroom's day easier? Not investor-friendly. Showroom First.
Zero hidden fees, zero complex contracts, zero gotchas. We are honest to a fault — and proud of it.
If a first-time user on a basic smartphone can't operate it in 10 minutes, we haven't done our job.
We only succeed when our showrooms succeed. Their growth is our growth metric. Full stop.
Many E-Rickshaw showrooms have already switched from registers to EmiGuru. Your showroom could be next.
